Question 1

What is bilty software and why do transporters need it?

Accepted Answer

Bilty software (also called LR software or lorry receipt software) allows transport companies to digitally create, manage, and track consignment notes. It eliminates paperwork, ensures GST compliance, auto-generates e-way bills, and provides a digital audit trail. InSimpl's bilty module supports multi-branch booking, bulk printing, and full history logs.

Question 2

Does InSimpl auto-generate e-way bills?

Accepted Answer

Yes. InSimpl Freight ERP automatically generates GST-compliant e-way bills from bilty data. It pulls consignor, consignee, item HSN, and vehicle details so you never enter data twice. You also get expiry alerts before e-way bills expire on long routes.

Question 3

Can InSimpl manage payroll for logistics staff and drivers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. InSimpl PeoPulse HRMS includes full payroll with PF, ESIC, TDS, and LWF deductions. It supports attendance-based salary calculation, leave encashment, overtime, and salary slip generation — built specifically for logistics companies with field staff and drivers.

Question 4

Is InSimpl suitable for small transporters with 5–10 trucks?

Accepted Answer

Yes. InSimpl's modular pricing means you only pay for what you use. A small transporter can start with just the Freight ERP module for bilty and challan management, and add fleet or HR modules as the business grows. There is no minimum fleet size requirement.

Question 5

How long does it take to go live on InSimpl?

Accepted Answer

Most companies go live within 1 day. Our onboarding team configures your account, imports your master data (branches, clients, vehicles, items), and trains your staff. You start booking bilties on Day 1.

Question 6

Does InSimpl work on mobile?

Accepted Answer

Yes. InSimpl is accessible on any browser on mobile and tablet. Drivers can capture digital POD, and fleet managers can track vehicle status from their phones. Native Android and iOS apps are available for field operations.
